Macabre Carnival Reviews
| Terrible Halloween Party |

This was really a terrible event and I am ashamed to have even said I paid $10 (discounted price) to go. True the beer was cheap and free from 8pm - 9pm (you were given only 3 tickets and could receive a maximum of 3 small beers during this time), but there was absolutely nothing there to do except drink. They had a so called comedy show with a girl named Katt or Catt, but it was really lame. I guess she was also the main attraction for the so-called Fairvilla lingerie show, which was as lame as her jokes. The event was from 8:00pm - 1:00am, but we ditched at 10:00pm. We even warned the people coming in from the parking lot that if they hadn't already bought their tickets, to not waste their time unless they were just coming for cheap beer and liquor, which made the two hours we were there, pretty tolerable. Their "carnival games" consisted of 3 booths, one was cornhole, one was to spin a wheel of misfortune for a possible chance of winning a tiny stuffed monkey, and the other was to play blackjack against a dealer, for what prize I don't know. There was also a "DJ" using a boom box, serving popcorn. The photo booths they advertised was just a single back drop, in a room, where you had to pay $2.00 for a picture to be taken with a costumed person, and the picture is supposed to be e-mailed to you (still haven't received it yet). The oxygen bar was $1 per minute, or the guy tried to talk us into $8 for 15 minutes, since it was our first time. Pass! I really hope that they don't try to do an event like this again, because honestly I will not return and I will make sure all of my friends and everyone I know doesn't waste their time too. |
