Indian Spring Cemetery is said to be one of the oldest in the area and a former Governor of Florida, Albert Gilchrist, is even buried here. He died in 1926 and witnesses have claimed seeing ghostly lights and hearing disembodied noises that sound like moaning and screaming. Shadowy figures have also been reported here.

  • Screaming young girl

Me and a few of my friends though it would be a great idea to go to the Indian Springs cemetery. We went with ghost equipment hoping to record some ghost encounters. I was the only one who had heard it, which was astonishing as it was so very loud. I had heard a woman screaming as if she was at the verge of death. She sounded to be about 18-28. We later found other people with similar experiences. We found it may have been a young girl who had been raped and killed back there, as there was a recorded case of this.

  • Unknown sighting

Around November/December of 2019, me and my friend decided it would be a good idea to head over to Indian Springs cemetery at around 2 in the morning. It was obviously very scary and most of the things I saw I’m going to blame on my paranoia. However, as we were leaving (we were in the middle by the flag) I saw a tombstone with something I can’t explain on top of it. My friend tried to reassure me it was just a part of the tombstone and it was just my eyes playing tricks on me. Not taking no for an answer, I turned to walk towards it but before I could there was what sounded like a high pitch scream in the distance. When I went to look at the tombstone again, it was gone. I remember how terrified I was running back to my car that something was chasing me and I 100% thought I was going to die in that moment, needless to say we booked it out of there.

  • Apparitions on Halloween night

We were in the cemetery and I decided to snap some photos. I took about 30 photos randomly and think I caught 2 separate apparitions. I took 2 photos in the same area back to back and in the second photo you can see a mist over the grave. Another photo of you zoom in you can almost see a see through person in between the trees.
