In 1956, Elvis Presley performed at this theater and it closed in 1980 but was re-opened in 1983. Witnesses have reported a strange, unexplained humming noise inside the building, and at least one apparition has been caught on camera, sitting in balcony seat E2, section 500, waving.

This location is rumored to be haunted by numerous spirits. There are several that hangout in the balcony and upstairs area, some in the backstage area, and some in the seating area on the main floor. None of the ghosts seem to cause any issues, since the theatre productions here seem to go well.

The ghost that haunts this building is named Jonathan. He is a typical noisy ghost that likes to make himself known. There have been reports of things moving from when you left them and the balcony seems to be his favorite spot to hangout.

There are two ghosts that supposedly haunt this playhouse, their names are unknown but we do know it is a man and woman. The male ghost died fighting war in Spain and when the woman could no longer wait for him to return, she committed suicide, while pregnant. She killed herself and unborn child by jumping into the Halifax River.

Guests that have been watching films here have reported seeing a disembodied head of a woman in the north corner of the room. The head appears suddenly and then floats from one corner to the next while screaming. It then vanishes in the next-door restaurant called Nicole St. Pierre. For reasons that are unknown, the head is present only on moonless nights at 1:00AM.

This building dates back to 1924 and was built by two brothers, Lucien and Clarence Oakley. The premises are said to be haunted by Lucien, whose ghost has appeared in mirrors and been blamed for moving things around. Footsteps have also been reported here from the empty catwalk.

The Arcadia Opera House now operates as a museum, however, it has always been considered haunted. Some of the paranormal occurrences that have been reported here include the sound of phantom footsteps and random bursts of laughter.
