Arbuckle Creek Bridge
Lorida, FL 33857
Legend says that an old woman, who knew a ton about potions and healing, used to live nearby to this bridge. She was hired to make a love potion, and in return she would receive the client's first-born child. When the client found out about the terms, he got quite angry and hit her, causing her to fall. Her head was said to be impaled by a cypress knee. The man realized what he did and hid her body in the swampy muck, but she was found, and the men fled the area to avoid murder charges. Her ghost has reportedly been seen and people say she is an uneasy spirit. Nearby residents burned her home in hope that her spirit would be set free, but her ghost is said to linger to this day.
