Curtiss Mansion/Glen Curtiss House
Miami Springs, FL 33166
This mansion was built by Glenn H. Curtis who loved children so much, he turned half of the mansion into a daycare. After, he found out his wife had an abortion so he got mad and his wife burned the house with him inside. People have said lights go on and off on their own and that there are ghosts that play tennis. Screaming can also be heard at night.

If you go to the website of The Curtiss Mansion, it tells you that Glenn Curtiss died in 1930 in Buffalo, NY of an embolism. He and his wife Lena, had two children.
The mansion may be haunted, but not in the way you stated.
