Ma Barker, who was once Public Enemy #1 died here at this lakefront home, along with her son Freddy. The town does a re-enactment of the shootout (which consumed more than 2,000 bullets) every January and some believe the two haunt the location to this very day. The house is still kept the way it was from the 1930s and was up for auction back in 2012.
