New River Inn
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301
This building dates back to 1905 and was once The New River Inn. It currently operates as the Old Fort Lauderdale History Museum. Visitors have reported some strange occurrences at the location, including the apparition of a man wearing an old-fashioned rancher's outfit, who walks around the first floor and front porch. He disappears whenever he is approached. The second ghost is that of P.N. Bryan, a former owner, who still guards the museum during the night. He has been seen staring down at people from the building's second floor. The third spirit is that of young girl wearing turn-of-the-century clothing. She is known to play in the building or talk to people before vanishing. She is considered to be one of the friendlier ghosts in the building.

Reviews
The place calls me a lot to go back. When I do I lose track of time and before I know it a hour or so has gone by. I've seen a shadow person there more then once. Also had the fan outside spin one way and when we ask to spin it the other way. It slowly stopped and started spinning the other way for us. I did had a video on my old phone that got ruined. I personally love the place and would go back to try to get video again. I always forget to record because I get so lost when I walk up to the place. I visit every time I'm downtown, no matter the time.
