Putnam Hotel

Reports say the Putnam Hotel no longer operates and was sold in 2013. There are two spirits that are said to live here. According to local lore, a guest of the hotel killed his wife and then himself while on the premises. People have said sadness emanates throughout the building and a shadowy figure has been seen in the hall or heard whistling or walking. The most active floor of the hotel is said to be the sixth floor, which is off limits to guests and used only for storage.
