lived in this home for 16 years my mother had the elite typing and mimeograph next door for many years. Tomaz was a Spanish ship captain that lived on the square early 1700s he haunts the back right bedroom he looks out that window because he was waiting on his betrothed whos ship sank in the gulf of Mexico after sailing from Barcelona Spain to Pensacola.. Some say he is buried at St. Michaels cemetery I saw many events where he played tricks on me as I grew up such as moving objects making noise rocking in rocking chair opening and closing windows he seemed to be a friendly ghost that would play tricks on me such as soak me with sea water in my bed and he scared many of my friends as I grew up and even played tricks on my husband the was a séance there in the 70s and parapsychologist a few times the several times and TV crews many witness these events after my mom passed away new owners took over but when they found out the place was haunted after some events happened at the shop they sold to a architecture firm who gutted most of the upstairs that's so sad and I don't think the Pensacola historical society would of allowed this I miss the home and wonder to this day of my friend the sea captain miss me
