When I was little, i used to see a young lady in the fireplace inside. I used to complain to my mom about it and so we sat out on the deck. Whenever going inside to use the restroom, my mom would have to go with me and stand on the side of me so that I would not be tempted to look at the fireplace.

November 2019

Had dinner with my girlfriend there last night. Sitting at one of the booths in the dining section to the left of the bar, she kept complaining that, while seating, I was constantly stepping on her foot under the table. My feet were on the ground and I never stepped on her foot; I would know if I did. She claimed I did it at least 10 times. Finally, she lost patience and stepped hard on me, resulting in a fight. Either my girlfriend was imagining it or something weird or paranormal was going on. After being together 10 years and dining out countless times, this has never occurred.

I have experienced alot of strange phenomenon at the restaurant. A waiter that took our order and never returned, a feeling of being pushed on the narrow service steps, a purse being thrown into the toilet, to a set of Victorian boots that disappeared in the ladies room from uner the stall. Others have shared their experiences. I started investigations in paranormal before playing live music on occasion there. I wrote a song to share with Ethel. To hurry my second set aling, I received a message "poem" after taking requests from the audience. My guests in the ladies room came out screaming that the water turned on and off by itself! I think it was a sign that Ethel was anxious to hear her song and story "Where Is Ethel Now?". Film directors and writers have met with me and to this day, I have an uncanny relationship to a woman I don't know. Her Great neice contacted me to thank me for keeping her memory alive and sharing her tragic death and story with specific detail as to her brutal murder. I never thought in a million years I'd be having this conversation. Especially with and about strangers.
