Comfort Station

The Comfort Station is a public restroom that was built back in 1927 by the same architect that designed the Vinoy Hotel (also rumored to be haunted). It's original name was "Comfort Station One," and it actually received national press when it was finished. According to some stories, the building is believed to be haunted, especially in the women's bathroom. Indistinct figures have been seen reflected in the mirrors and one tourist even claims she had a conversation with an old woman in the stall next to her named Agnes. She then realized no one had been in the bathroom with her.

Reviews
from 1984-98 when I lived in st.petersburg, if on a journey to downtown area, I would use this comfort station. It had a bad reputation for homeless hang out,drugs street and gay activity. It was very hard for city sanitation employees to keep clean and god only knows what went on in this building. I never experienced any hauntings.
