Historic Peninsula Inn and Spa
Gulfport, FL 33707
This hotel was built in the turn of the 20th Century and was once a military hospital, boarding house, and now, a hotel and spa. The premises are said to be haunted by a resident ghost named "Isabelle." She is said to have lived and died here in the 1950s and may also have a "ghost cat" that wanders around.

Reviews
i did not know of anything about this inn. I just took a weekend to rest. My second night (around 2a) I woke to a feeling and sat up. There was a man (who seemed iill) and a preteen young man. They were of another time. The man made me feel he was a soldier and the boy I can’t explain. The feeling I woke to was being stared at. It woke me wide awake. They were standing and looking at me. They were at the right side of the foot of my bed. I was sat up, not afraid, but knowing what I was seeing. I looked at them. After what felt like a couple of minutes I told them to go and that they were not welcome there. They disappeared. It wasn’t a dream. It wasn’t my first experience. The next morningI asked the owner about a brief history of the inn. I did not tell her of what I saw.
