Harry's Seafood Bar and Grill
St. Augustine, FL 32084
The owners of this bar and grill supposedly bet on Harry the horse, who had 50-to-1 odds, and Harry won. With the money they won, they decided to open this location. The restaurant is believed to be haunted by a female ghost who died here in a fire in 1887. Some others believe the ghost is Catalina, a resident from the 1700s whose name was used for the restaurant's previous incarnation. Witnesses have claimed they saw her apparition walking briskly through the place in a white gown. She is also known to sometimes appear in a mirror in the women's bathroom. The smell of her perfume has also been detected, along with poltergeist activity.
