In 1978, the ladies of the Sorosis Club came up with a fundraising idea that has grown into our Annual Haunted House. It was an instant hit with the residents of our community. They eagerly return year after year, and it's heartwarming to see many who once visited as children now sharing the experience with their grandchildren. Awakening your Nightmares will open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from October 22nd through Oct 31st
This year … you enter a world where sleep offers no safety - your nightmares wake first. A seemingly harmless pizza party becomes the gateway to everything you fear. Your only path out is through our infamous dark and twisted maze that no map can explain … maybe you pass into a place that shouldn’t exist … or maybe the dolls find you. Or the spiders. Or the clowns. We advise you not to run … there may be more than one Jason at our exit. More than one chainsaw … and yes, they have chased families right to their vehicles! This time … your nightmare will not stay behind. This time ... it follows you home.
It will be worth it - your screams will echo with purpose! The funds we raise benefit area children and causes in our community. The Sorosis Club is renowned for its haunted house and other annual events like Lunch with the Easter Bunny, the Summer Splash Bash, Lunch with Santa, and Operation Santa. You'll find us at the Manatee Festival, the Orange City 4th of July Celebration, and other local gatherings. Our community's support fuels our gratitude, and this October, we invite you to join us. Enter if you dare, but heed the warning: Our haunted house is not for the faint of heart. You will ask yourself, am I crazy or just dreaming???

The City of Orange City will have it's Annual Halloween Block Party at Mill Lake Park on October 31st. We are just down the road from this event!
Come see us at our Lunch with Santa Event on December 12th. Kids Eat Free! Free Visit with Santa. Free gift. While supplies last. 11:30-1:00.

The Apocalypse was outstanding! I went two different weekends with different crowds, and everyone was amazed. The proceeds go to help the community as well. I can't wait for next year's scare!

Such a great and very scary haunted house. Only 15.00 for adults. Better then the big theme parks.

This haunted house put on by volunteers from the Sorosis Club is a must go to. I mainly go to houses for to see the details but this one gave me a few jump scares. They do a fantastic job.

The attention to detail made it very eerie and believable. My son was a scared at the beginning of the tour but a witch gave him a rubber spider for protection and he was very happy to scare his sister with it when we got home!

These women are phenomenal and work so hard to come up with Great ideas! You can tell each person involved puts their hearts into every room. This haunted house Never disappoints from the outside to the inside. Great pricing on Tickets, Food & the Fun Stuff outside, there is something affordable for everyone to buy if you want to. Super Friendly Workers :) We will definitely be going back!!
