This cemetery and the grounds surrounding it are believed to be haunted. There used to be an old shack located at the edge of the cemetery and is the oldest house in Port Charlotte. The original owners were a farmer and his wife, who he later on murdered. Since then, the shack deteriorated and the county had no choice but to condemn it. It has been reported that near that section of the cemetery, you can feel cold spots, smell odd smells, hear unexplained noises and even see the apparition of a woman. Neighbors have claimed they have been bothered by the "Killer Bee Phenomenon." The entire area is supposedly plagued by the sounds of swarms of bees, even though there are none to be found.

Went there yesterday, and with my devices I had a full 2 hour intelligent conversation with a spirit named Evelyn. I do not want to give her full name as we do know it. Multiple children showed up as well. As we talked a dark and evil energy tried to take over and we forced it to leave as well as called upon God to help them banish the demon. Evelyn noted that this energy was Satan. After the request for help, the energy left and it was an overwhelming feeling of peace and love. Evelyn called herself the protector of the cemetery. Other comments on here stated seeing a woman in white in the area of the church, this was Evelyn as she stated she is wearing a wedding dress and is in her 30s as she portrays herself in death. My fiance who is psychic also could see her.

I am a Youtuber ( Jenny Love Paranormal TV ) and I have investigated this cemetery several times. I have never been let down! There are many things that happened upon going there during the day and at night! it does not matter what time of day you go there. you will get much paranormal evidence!! The last investigation I did here which was recently (April 2021) Was by far the most terrifying!!!! I was on a LIVE stream during this terrifying investigation!! my viewers were stunned!!

Me and my friends decided to go there at 4:00 in the morning and once we got there we saw a women in white walking around the main cemetery but as we got to the church and section that heads to the kids cemetery we felt a cold spot and something touching us and when we tried going deeper i was the only one that heard a screech and I blacked out and as soon as that happened we left and my other friend reported seeing a a guy in black with a shovel walking and a lady that screams for you to get out
