This building dates back to 1924 and was originally the "Melbourne Hotel." It was later a bank, and then stores and office space. It is now referred to as the “1900 Building”. The story surrounding this building is that of a girl named Amelia who lived and died at the hotel. Some believe she still lingers the halls looking for her lost love. Others sense the presence of a seafaring captain.

I was born and raised in Melbourne Florida. I have never heard anything about this place being haunted. Does anyone have proof? Just because it is an old building it does not make it haunted.
