Belleview-Biltmore Hotel
Clearwater, FL 33756
This hotel is located along the eastern shores of Old Clearwater Bay and has views of the bay and the barrier islands which border the Gulf of Mexico. It was built by railroad tycoon Henry B. Plant in 1897 and was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on December 26th, 1979. In 2012, the owner planned to demolish the hotel so it could be replaced with condos. At 820,000 square feet, this hotel is the last remaining grand historic hotel in Florida that exists as a resort, and the only remaining Henry Plant hotel still in operation. The property consists of over 160 acres and includes swimming pools, a golf course, restaurant and beach club. It is a popular location for wedding and other large events. And it also has been known to be quite haunted. There has been ghost sightings and other paranormal events. The Hotel was featured in a segment on the Weird Travels series on the Travel Channel television network in the U.S., which was filmed in March 2004 by Authentic Entertainment.

It's true that there's multiple hauntings, including the bride who waits for her lover/groom to return from the Battle (Civil War) - can be seen from the window. There's also been reported poltergeists - such as drawers opening, doors slamming, lights going on / off, chairs being moved. In addition people have reported hearing "voices", "footsteps", being touched or the feeling that he/she/they are being watched.
There's been reports of people seeing apparitions - typically that from the turn of century or two.
I am an ordained minister and I was called out to handle a "very upset/angry" spirit/ghost. People were reporting objects were being thrown at them at the specific room (NDA) and several people were documented with redness around the throat and reported they felt someone was choking - strangling.
Due to people having physical manifestations - I was called out to handle this particular "unknown". Which turned out to be a "modern" person - it's not unusual for people to commit suicide in hotels/motels as much as passing away.
It turned out that it was a fellow, a guy, and he did commit suicide (reasons unknown) and I dealt with that and for over 23 years - there's been no further agenda.
Now for those ghosts/spirits that are there are NOT Hostile. They just want you to know "They are still there"...
There's also been reports of "residual" variants.
Overall, there's NO SET TIME LINE - they manifest when they want to be manifested; there's no certain timeline. Can be in the morning, afternoon, dinner time, and middle of the night.

My husband and I had our honeymoon and then our 1 year anniversary here.... During our stay on our honeymoon we heard voices but nobody was ever around....during our 1 year anniversary stay the dresser draws kept opening in thier own....we never touched the dresser...we kept our cloths in our suitcases...the draws were closed when we first checked into the room......after a few hours of being in the room all of a sudden the draws started opening on their own...we would shut them and then after we walked away they would open again on thier own....as I was relaxing in the bath tub I got a crazy feeling like somebody was watching me and then talking to me....my husband was not talking to me and was not watching tv either.... We knew a couple people who worked there and also had a few crazy run ins with the hauntings.
